Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin market cap exceeded $2 billion during the week of August 18-22. Nearly half of that supply, approximately $988 million, circulates on the XRP Ledger. RLUSD now accounts for over 90% of total stablecoin supply on this chain, enabling the XRP Ledger to surpass Stellar in total stablecoin supply. The token is fully backed by USD deposits and cash equivalents, with monthly attestations from an independent CPA.
