Autonomous trucking startup Gatik has closed a $200 million Series D round, its largest financing to date, with the Qatar Investment Authority and Koch Disruptive Technologies leading the deal. This brings Gatik’s total outside capital to approximately $352 to $375 million since the company was founded in 2017. Gatik has booked over $600 million in contracted revenue and claims to be the first company to operate sustained, revenue-generating, fully driverless freight routes at scale in North America. The funds will be used to expand the fleet and geographic footprint of the company, which already serves major retailers including Walmart and Kroger across multiple U.S. states.
