Gemini has activated native XRP Ledger transfers for its Singapore-based users, allowing them to send and receive XRP directly to and from external XRPL-compatible wallets. The feature, effective August 25, marks a first for the platform in the region. Previously, Singapore customers could trade XRP on the platform but could not withdraw to their own wallet or send to another exchange. Compliance with Singapore’s Travel Rule requirements means withdrawals are restricted to verified exchanges or self-custody wallets. XRP’s price showed immediate positive movement following the announcement.
