Cisco announced on August 25 a partnership with Supermicro to integrate NVIDIA-based AI compute systems into its Secure AI Factory platform. Supermicro will supply liquid-cooled and air-cooled servers purpose-built for NVIDIA GPUs, while Cisco brings its expertise in networking, security, and monitoring. Enterprise customers will benefit from pre-validated configurations, eliminating the complexity of assembling components from five different vendors. These systems are expected to be available in October 2026. This partnership represents Cisco’s biggest bet yet on becoming the critical infrastructure provider for the AI era.
