Crypto trading platform FOMO denies hack of its iOS app

A crypto trader claimed that an update to the FOMO app caused $6 million in crypto losses, citing as an example the loss of 662 SOL, worth approximately $62,000, after opening the iOS app. FOMO co-founder Prashan Dharmasena rejected the allegations, stating that the cited wallet never signed a transaction through FOMO’s fee payer system. The transaction in question is authentic according to Solana blockchain explorer solscan.io, but FOMO disputes that any bug in its application caused the transfer. Forensic researcher ZachXBT has linked the account Derivatives_Ape, which originated the accusation, to the co-founder of Zkasino, a platform suspected of stealing $30 million in investor funds.
