Offchain Labs is working to integrate zero-knowledge proofs into Arbitrum’s BoLD settlement protocol. The goal is to reduce withdrawal times from seven days to a few hours. This improvement does not replace optimistic fraud proofs but adds a faster confirmation layer on top. Mainnet deployment still requires DAO approval. The plan remains in development and is not yet active on the main network.
