Aerodrome Finance is launching a $400,000 public audit contest through Sherlock’s platform, running from August 31 to September 21. This three-week contest represents the final public security review before the Aero upgrade, internally codenamed MetaDEX03, goes live on mainnet in September. The protocol has already completed multiple rounds of private audits with ChainSecurity and Sherlock, with no critical or high-severity vulnerabilities detected. The Aero upgrade introduces two economic mechanisms, Predictive Allocation and the AER Engine, designed to address the misalignment between liquidity provider rewards and actual fee revenue generated by their pools.
