World ID integrates with peaqOS for secure human verification in machine interactions

Share

peaq, the layer-1 blockchain built for the machine economy, announced on August 21 the integration of World ID into its peaqOS stack. The system enables machines and autonomous devices to verify they are interacting with a real human rather than a bot while keeping personal information completely private. World ID uses advanced cryptographic protocols, notably iris verification through physical orb devices, to generate anonymous proofs of uniqueness. The process confirms that a user is a genuine human and has not already created another identity in the system, without ever transmitting names, email addresses, or government IDs. This integration now allows a peaq-powered machine to verify both ends of a transaction, its own identity through peaq’s machine ID system and the human’s identity through World ID’s proof-of-human credential, without learning who that person is in any identifiable sense.
