Singapore sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings has posted a string of successes in India this week, with three of its portfolio companies each surging more than 30% after their market debuts. Shiprocket ended Wednesday at 143 rupees, nearly 50% above its IPO price, with demand exceeding supply by nearly 100 times. Milky Mist and Molbio Diagnostics also posted gains of 40% and 26% respectively versus their IPO prices. Temasek has deployed nearly $9 billion in India over the past three years and maintains a total exposure of $42 billion to the market, a four-fold increase over the past decade.
