On August 14th, DMND, the Stratum V2 mining pool, announced an integration with Mempool Accelerator enabling individual miners to directly control transaction prioritization. Until now, this function was managed by pools, which decided which transactions to accelerate and kept the associated revenue. With this integration, miners who find blocks containing accelerated transactions collect the additional revenue themselves. This is a world first, made possible by the Job Declaration feature of Stratum V2. Mempool Accelerator allows stuck transactions to be confirmed by paying out-of-band fees, with prioritization across over 80% of the Bitcoin network hashrate.
