South Korea Bans Polymarket, Citing Its Winner-Take-All Structure

South Korea has ordered the blocking of access to Polymarket within its territory. The Korea Communications Commission announced the decision on Tuesday, after consulting with police and gambling regulators. The platform is accused of violating the country’s Criminal Act and National Sports Promotion Act over gambling concerns. Internet service providers have been ordered to cut off access to the platform nationwide.
