Cipher Digital, formerly Cipher Mining, sold approximately 471 BTC as part of its transition from cryptocurrency mining to artificial intelligence infrastructure. The company now holds 646 BTC worth roughly $37.8 million, down from 1,433 BTC at the end of 2025. It has secured 10- to 15-year contracts with Amazon Web Services, Google, and other hyperscale tenants, generating a contracted revenue backlog exceeding $11 billion. The company is developing a total capacity pipeline of 4.2 GW for HPC facilities, with over 600 MW currently under consideration, while maintaining limited Bitcoin mining operations at its 207 MW facility in Odessa, Texas.
