The Pi Network Core Team announced a partnership with RoboPay, allowing tens of millions of Pi users to spend their token for robotic services including grocery deliveries, property patrols, industrial inspections, and humanoid assistance. Over 240,000 Pioneers participated in the distribution of the Testnet token called SLICE, with roughly 16 million Test-Pi committed for 10 million SLICE tokens. Protocol version 25 was completed at the end of July, with August 11 as the deadline for deploying version 26. PI price hit a new all-time low just above $0.07 less than a month ago but has since recovered above $0.08, remaining 22% higher than the mid-July low.
