Farzad Kassam, senior macro portfolio manager at Millennium Management, is preparing to launch his own investment firm in Dubai in 2027, backed by the hedge fund giant and with over $1 billion in assets under management. Initially, the fund will manage capital exclusively for Millennium founder Izzy Englander, with the possibility of accepting outside investors down the line. Kassam joined Millennium in 2019 after co-heading GBP rates trading at NatWest Markets, bringing deep expertise in fixed income and macro strategies. The launch follows a well-worn playbook at Millennium, which deploys capital across hundreds of independent trading teams within its multistrategy platform.
