Upbit, South Korea’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the listing of Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin. The platform, which commands a 70% share of the South Korean market, has launched three trading pairs with RLUSD against the Korean won, Bitcoin, and Tether. This listing follows successful introductions on OKX in April 2026, Kraken in April 2025, and Bitstamp in January 2025. The Bullish platform dominates the global RLUSD market with 52% of spot volume, followed by Binance with 16%. South Korea is considered one of the most dynamic markets for XRP, with Upbit’s XRP/KRW pair being the most traded on the platform in 2025.
