FedEx’s quantum initiatives have focused on warehouse layout optimization without publishing specific fuel savings data. DHL’s most notable pilot with Groovenauts and Honeywell achieved an estimated 60% reduction in carbon emissions, but carbon reduction is not equivalent to fuel savings. In contrast, FedEx’s classical computer-based dynamic routing already delivers 10-15% fuel and labor cost reductions. Neither FedEx nor DHL integrate blockchain or cryptocurrency into their quantum logistics projects.
