More than $7 billion in token value migrated to Chainlink’s cross-chain infrastructure in the second quarter as crypto projects and traditional financial institutions sought more secure bridging solutions following a string of hacks totaling over $650 million this year. Chainlink’s CCIP protocol processed $4.9 billion in quarterly volume, up 353% year-over-year, bringing the total value secured by the network to $110 billion. Major players including Mantle, Kraken, KelpDAO and DTCC moved billions of dollars onto the infrastructure, while Project Pangea involves more than 50 banks representing over $10 trillion in assets under management. LINK’s price rose approximately 12% this month to $8.34, but remains down roughly 31% since the start of the year.
