Dogecoin (DOGE) has become the only cryptocurrency among the top 20 by market cap to record a notable increase in its daily trading volume, with a 92.7% surge reaching approximately $1.55 billion. In comparison, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and BNB saw their volumes decline by 35% to over 45%, while Bitcoin’s trading volume fell by more than 55%. On the price front, DOGE gained nearly 6% and returned above its 50-day moving average after several weeks of consolidation around the $0.07 support level. Derivative data also shows a bullish bias, with open interest rising by over 4% and favorable long-to-short ratios on Binance and OKX. Despite persistent technical obstacles related to the overall bearish market trend, this volume increase represents a positive signal for DOGE.
