The Brazilian platform Mercado Bitcoin detected and contained a compromise of one of its systems and temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals. According to Hypernative, suspicious outflows from wallets linked to the platform exceeded $40 million, or approximately 217 million reais. The hackers transferred assets including 106 BTC and 2,852 ETH, along with about 6.7 million XLM consolidated at addresses linked to the suspicious transactions. The transfers affected at least 10 blockchains, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, Tron, Stellar, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche and BNB Smart Chain.
