According to a research report from Grayscale, artificial intelligence could trigger a new wave of concerns over financial privacy. The firm’s Head of Research, Zach Pandl, believes AI tools will create new privacy challenges, particularly for public blockchains that are transparent by default. Zcash, which uses zero-knowledge cryptography to hide both transaction addresses and amounts, could become a sought-after solution. Grayscale also converted its Zcash Trust into a spot ZEC ETF on NYSE Arca on August 25.
