XRP at a Crossroads as Senate Punts on Clarity Act

XRP fell 2.05% in 24 hours to $1.02, remaining the only red token among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market cap. The U.S. Senate left Washington without voting on the Clarity Act, pushing the market-structure vote to September at the earliest. This legislation would reclassify XRP, Solana, and Dogecoin as non-securities, placing them under CFTC jurisdiction rather than the SEC. On the technical side, XRP has been in a clear bearish trend since hitting $3 in 2025, with a confirmed death cross and an RSI reading of 35.9. Prediction markets remain optimistic, however, with 77% odds that XRP stays above the psychological $1.00 level.
