Xaman Wallet, the dominant self-custodial wallet for the XRP Ledger, has removed its 0.09 XRP minimum fee on transactions. This move aims to lower barriers for smaller trades that were previously priced out by this floor. The 0.8% service fee on swaps and DEX activity remains in place. The XRP Ledger itself charges approximately 0.00001 XRP per transaction, making Xaman’s former minimum fee orders of magnitude higher than the network cost. The removal complements Xaman Swap, launched in June 2026, as part of Xaman’s strategy to broaden network adoption.
