X launched its U.S. Cashtag Partner Program on September 15, adding a Trade button to cryptocurrency, stock and ETF pages. This button redirects users to partner platforms Coinbase, Kraken, Gemini, Interactive Brokers and Moomoo to execute their transactions. X does not execute market orders itself, merely sending users to the selected brokerage’s app or website. Gemini specified that its connection covered five cryptocurrencies (ZEC, HYPE, BTC, ETH and SOL), while Kraken highlighted access to over 2400 tokens. Existing customers can proceed to their brokerage accounts, while new users are directed to account signup.
