Winklevoss Asset Services filed a Form S-1 with the SEC on October 6, 2026, for a Zcash ETF under the ticker WINK, carrying annual fees of 0.25% of assets. The custodian is Gemini Trust Company, founded by the same Winklevoss twins as the sponsor, and Winklevoss Capital Fund indicated interest in purchasing up to $100 million in shares. ZEC trades around $1,360 after a gain of over 2,000% in one year, despite a past bug in the Orchard shielded pool that caused an approximate 50% drop. Competition is already in place with Grayscale’s ZCSH, which attracted over $233 million in inflows since August, and a Bitwise filing. Listing on Nasdaq remains contingent on SEC approval.
