Anthropic could be days away from a major step toward becoming a public company, with an IPO planned for November, although no formal filing has yet been confirmed. The artificial-intelligence company is reportedly seeking a valuation of up to $2 trillion. If market pressures persist, it could reasonably decide to remain private and wait for a better opportunity, according to a portfolio manager. Such a valuation would exceed the $1.77 trillion debut achieved by SpaceX, ticker SPCX, earlier this year.
