XRP fell about 8% over the past 24 hours, one of the worst showings among the top cryptocurrencies, after the US Senate failed to advance the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act on Tuesday. This drop left XRP down well over 10% for the week. The bill, formally known as H.R. 3633, needed 60 votes but got only 49, with no Democrats crossing over to support it. At time of writing, XRP trades around $1.28, down over 8% in 24 hours and more than 10% in seven days, although the token remains up close to 29% over the past 30 days.
