West Ham United have granted permission for Senegalese left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf to undergo a medical with Brentford ahead of a transfer worth up to 40 million pounds. The London club, relegated to the Championship, signed Diouf from Slavia Prague in July 2025 for 19 million pounds, potentially generating a profit of around 21 million pounds on this deal. At 21 years old, Diouf has 23 caps for Senegal and made 33 Premier League appearances last season, providing five assists. Brentford are looking to strengthen their left flank due to the persistent injury issues of their regular left-back Rico Henry.
