Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is buying 10 shares of Goldman Sachs at roughly $867 each during Thursday’s market sell-off. The trade raises its Goldman position to 160 shares and its portfolio weighting from 3.4% to 3.6%, using cash that represents a mid-teens percentage of the portfolio. Goldman shares are down roughly 7% amid concerns that opposition to data centers could reduce AI-related IPOs and financing deals. The bank could still benefit from its equities and FICC trading businesses during market volatility, along with its 2.3% dividend yield and multibillion-dollar share repurchase program. The trust also plans to add to its Boeing position, which has no direct exposure to the data center buildout.
