Washington probes Singapore freight firm over suspected Nvidia server shipments to China

The US government is investigating Apex Logistics, a Singapore-based freight company, for allegedly routing Nvidia-powered AI servers to China through various Asian transit points. The investigation centers on 47 shipments involving Super Micro Computer hardware that were initially shipped to the US before being redirected to different Asian locations and ultimately reaching Hong Kong and mainland China. This case would mark the first US enforcement action specifically targeting a logistics company in the illegal semiconductor trade. Days before the investigation was reported, Taiwanese authorities indicted nine individuals, including a senior Nvidia manager and Super Micro Computer employees, linked to the illegal export of 130 B300 servers.
