Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has endorsed Trueo’s planned migration from Base to Ethereum mainnet, describing the project as a new prediction-market contender focused on decentralization and ethical design. Trueo announced the move on September 21, explaining that it first launched on Base in March 2025 and now aims to build a widely adopted, fully permissionless, and highly credible platform. The native token TRUE saw its market cap jump from around $1.7 million to more than $12 million in the hours following Buterin’s endorsement, with a 699% gain over the past day. The migration comes as rival prediction market operators, including Kalshi and Polymarket, face legal disputes over alleged unlicensed sports betting.
