Uniswap is opening its fee conversion tool, Token Jar, or TJAR, to crypto applications beyond its own protocol. The smart contract converts fees collected in different tokens into a single asset selected by the application, such as a stablecoin or its own token. Searchers compete to swap the accumulated assets, while the configuration can be deployed in a single transaction and later adjusted or permanently locked. TJAR processed more than $15.3 million in conversions over the previous month and is live on seven blockchain networks. Robinhood is among the early adopters, using it to convert fees earned through the Uniswap API into USDC and USDG.
