Tokenization platform Tx is preparing to launch USTX, a stablecoin issued by Brale and backed by USDC. Announced on September 23, 2026, it is set to launch in October 2026, with an initial test mint of 1 USTX on mainnet conducted on October 13. USTX will be fully backed 1:1 by bank deposits, government money market funds and short-term US Treasury bills, with monthly attestations from an accounting firm. Four networks are initially supported: Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Solana, with plans to expand to eight networks total. The main goal is to consolidate dollar liquidity scattered across multiple chains into a single native balance on the tx chain, enabling simultaneous settlement for tokenized stocks, ETFs and real-world assets.
