Trump Media, the entity behind Truth Social, majority-owned by the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust, has sold 2,628 bitcoins for $165 million. This sale follows a series of disposals that began seven months ago, bringing the total bitcoins sold to 7,281 units for approximately $545 million at an average price below $75,000. The company had initially acquired 11,542 bitcoins for $1.37 billion at an average price of $118,522, close to bitcoin’s all-time high. Total accumulated losses now stand at $555 million.
