President Donald Trump disclosed more than 500 securities transactions in August, totaling between $74.3 million and $273.3 million according to a CNBC analysis. His largest transaction was a purchase of $5 million to $25 million in Meta shares on Aug. 21, amid a broader portfolio reshuffling that also included purchases in AT&T, ConocoPhillips, Abbott Laboratories, Netflix and Chevron. On Aug. 18, his accounts purchased between $1 million and $5 million in senior unsecured notes issued by SpaceX, carrying a 5.35% interest rate and maturing in July 2031. Two days later, Trump signed a national space transportation policy calling for the U.S. to support more than 1,000 launches and reentries annually by 2030, a policy from which SpaceX, a major Pentagon contractor and NASA launch provider, is well positioned to benefit.
