TrueFoundry launched TrueForge, an open-source AI agent harness, on August 19, positioning it as a vendor-neutral solution that cuts AI deployment costs by 30% to 75% compared to managed platforms. Organizations using the same proprietary models through TrueForge save around 30% by eliminating managed-service markups, while those switching to open-source models like GLM-5.2 can achieve up to 75% savings. Founded in 2021 by Nikunj Bajaj, Abhishek Choudhary, and Anuraag Gutgutia, the company has raised over $21 million from investors including Naval Ravikant and Intel Capital. TrueForge supports Kubernetes-native deployments, integrates with existing AI Gateway and MCP Gateway tools for cost controls and governance, and is available on GitHub and the AWS Marketplace.
