Triple-A hot wallet losses reach $12M amid security incident

Triple-A, a Singapore-based crypto payments gateway, suffered a security breach with estimated losses of $12 million. The exploit drained hot wallets across six blockchains: Ethereum, TRON, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana, and TON. Blockchain security firm PeckShield and on-chain investigator Specter were the first to identify the suspicious outflows on July 24. The company confirmed that customer funds are safe and that cold storage remains untouched. Triple-A holds a Major Payment Institution license from Singapore’s Monetary Authority (MAS) and operates under regulatory authorizations in the US and EU.
