Treasury yields fall as investors brace for Warsh’s Jackson Hole keynote amid bond fears

U.S. Treasury yields declined on Monday as investors await Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh’s keynote address at the Jackson Hole symposium. The 10-year Treasury yield fell more than 2 basis points to 4.7120%, while the 30-year yield dropped to 5.2497% and the 2-year yield stood at 4.2209%. Last week, the Treasury Department, led by Scott Bessent, unveiled an expanded debt buyback program to ease pressure on the long end of the yield curve, amid persistent inflation and the U.S. national debt reaching $40 trillion.
