Avalanche holds the largest market cap in the group at 2.91 billion dollars, while Internet Computer sits furthest from its peak at 99.7% below, requiring a 323-times recovery to return to its high. The networks are now testing whether user fees can cover security costs, grants, and growth without another price boom, with several governance mechanisms actively redesigning rewards and token emissions. For Algorand, fees collected in May 2026 totaled just 50,000 ALGO against 6.93 million ALGO in staking rewards, illustrating the gap between direct user revenue and distributed incentives.
