The Clearing House has selected Quant to provide the interoperability and transaction-management layer for its On-Chain Money Initiative. This network will enable financial institutions to clear and settle tokenized deposits while connecting to existing RTP and CHIPS payment rails. The Clearing House currently processes over $2 trillion per day across wire transfers, ACH, checks and real-time payments. Participating institutions are expected to gain access in the first half of 2027. Unlike a public stablecoin, a tokenized deposit remains a deposit liability of the issuing bank, with the underlying banking relationship preserved.
