The transaction represents 40 times the average value of $500 that Telegram had guaranteed for each of the 235 Algorithm Cups distributed to medalists. Pavel Durov highlighted this sale as an example of seed money, recalling that $20,000 was enough for him to launch VKontakte 20 years ago. Jonathan He, gold medalist at the 2026 International Olympiad in Informatics, confirmed his potential by ranking fifth after Day 1 with 246 points out of 300. Gram has lost 56% of its value over the past year, but the NFT still generated a significant gain.
