Sui and Alibaba Cloud are collaborating on an integration that would allow autonomous AI agents to pay for cloud services using stablecoins within budget limits set by their owners. The concept was unveiled at Sui Basecamp in Singapore: the agent can make individual cloud or inference calls and settle payment in stablecoins without requiring human approval for each transaction. Sui provides the blockchain execution and payment logic, while Alibaba Cloud brings compute and other cloud services. No launch date or pricing has been announced, as the project remains under development and is not yet a live commercial service.
