Strategy’s STRC preferred stock briefly reached $100 on Nov. 4, following months of share buybacks and the introduction of daily dividends. The recovery could revive a channel for financing Bitcoin purchases, with the company holding 849,327 BTC as of Nov. 1, without issuing additional common stock. STRC.live estimated that Nov. 4 issuance may have financed about 191 BTC, but Strategy has not confirmed those purchases. As of Nov. 1, roughly $18 billion of STRC was available for issuance and sale, while the security carries a 12% annual dividend rate. STRC’s return to its stated value reflects Strategy’s broader digital credit ambitions, although the model ultimately depends on Bitcoin appreciating sufficiently to offset dividend costs.
