Starknet has launched its strkBTC faucet, allowing 100 randomly selected users per week to claim approximately $8.33 worth of strkBTC, a privacy-enabled Bitcoin wrapper on the network. The faucet, hosted at strkbtc.starknet.io/faucet, distributes roughly $833 per weekly round across up to 100 participants. Users first receive an unshielded allocation with a STRK token bonus, then can optionally switch to a shielded state using the STRK20 privacy framework. The strkBTC itself is a Bitcoin wrapper on Starknet backed 1:1 by BTC. Registration for the next round reopens on September 29.
