LayerZero Labs is shutting down Stargate V1 liquidity pools on December 15, 2026. Liquidity providers have three months to withdraw their funds with zero fees before the deadline. This deprecation stems from LayerZero retiring the V1 Relayer, the messaging infrastructure underlying the protocol. Users who fail to withdraw before the cutoff date risk losing access to their positions. The newer protocols, Stargate V2 and Hydra, will continue operating normally. In August 2025, the native token transitioned from STG to ZRO at a conversion rate of 1 STG to 0.08634 ZRO.
