SpaceXAI is set to activate roughly 420,000 Nvidia GPUs in November as part of the expansion of its Colossus supercomputer in Memphis, Tennessee. The cluster currently holds approximately 780,000 GPUs across two sites, with the goal of reaching 1.44 million units by year-end, nearly doubling the fleet in a single quarter. The company has leased over 220,000 GPUs to Anthropic under a deal potentially worth up to $84.5 billion by 2029. SpaceXAI is building a 1.2-gigawatt power plant to support the infrastructure, with a long-term target of reaching the equivalent of 50 million H100-class GPUs by 2030.
