Securitize has launched Securitize Stocks, allowing eligible investors to trade tokenized U.S. equities on the Solana blockchain. The initial portfolio includes 12 stocks from major U.S. companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla, with settlement via the USDC stablecoin on Solana. These tokenized stocks are backed 1:1 with underlying shares, qualify as security entitlements under UCC Article 8 and provide economic benefits including dividend rights and voting rights. The platform also plans to be available on the New York Stock Exchange’s upcoming 24/7 digital trading venue as well as on the proposed OKX-ICE Tokenized Securities Venue.
