Solana generated over $1 million in network revenue on a single day on August 19, its highest daily figure in six months according to SolanaFloor data. This figure, known as REV, combines base fees, priority fees, and MEV tips flowing to validators. In July, the ecosystem’s applications produced $82.9 million in revenue, the highest monthly total since February, while the network captured 16.5% of total protocol fees across all tracked chains, ranking third. On July 18, Solana briefly led all blockchain networks in daily revenue, generating $5.35 million in protocol fees within a 24-hour window. For SOL holders, sustained revenue growth can translate into higher staking yields and, depending on protocol fee burn mechanics, a gradual reduction in circulating supply.
