Solana Debuts Institutional Settlement Standard With J.P. Morgan Input

The Solana Foundation launched Solana DvP, an open-source escrow program providing financial institutions with a standardized API for delivery-versus-payment settlement. Developed with input from J.P. Morgan and released under the MIT license, this tool compresses the multi-day clearing process into a single atomic transaction where both the asset and payment settle together or neither does. The foundation plans to add privacy features. This initiative builds on Solana’s strategy to attract institutions to tokenized real-world assets, an area where BlackRock and Kraken have already taken positions on the network.
