Soda Labs has raised $3 million in a seed round fully funded by Luxembourg-based venture firm NextBlock. The company is building privacy infrastructure using garbled circuits and multiparty computation, enabling financial applications to process confidential data while remaining connected to public blockchains. The technology leverages established cryptographic components including AES and SHA-256 and runs on ordinary cloud CPUs. As tokenization expands, privacy is becoming an increasingly important challenge for institutional blockchain adoption.
