Speculation is circulating about a possible connection between Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead ambassador of Shiba Inu, and Charlie Lee, the founder of Litecoin. A long-time SHIB community member, Mazrael, suggested that Kusama may have interacted with Litecoin in the past. In November 2024, Kusama did post about Litecoin, stating he was not looking to get into beef with the cryptocurrency. However, this interaction does not confirm any link between the two figures. Charlie Lee, a former Google engineer, launched Litecoin in October 2011 as a source-code fork of Bitcoin.
